Hippo Pack Chlorine Tablets
One of the common methods for disinfecting and sanitizing pool water is using chlorine tablets.
The optimal level of free chlorine in pool water, which effectively eliminates microbes, viruses, and bacteria, ranges between 1-3 ppm.
If the chlorine tablet used is of poor quality, it will fail to maintain chlorine levels within the desired range, exposing swimmers to various illnesses.
Most chlorine tablets available in the market are low-quality Chinese or Indian products, often causing serious damage to skin and hair.
The active ingredient in Hippo Pack Chlorine Tablets is hygienic-grade and is manufactured according to National Standard 7098.
These tablets prevent the growth of microscopic algae, which can cause the pool water to turn green and lead to algae accumulation on the pool walls and floor.

Usage Instructions
Measure the chlorine level using the Hippo Pack Chlorine and pH Test Kit.
Compare the resulting yellow color with the chlorine reference chart and read the chlorine level in milligrams per liter or ppm. The optimal chlorine range for pool water disinfection is 1-3 ppm.
For Preventing Contamination in Newly Filled Pools:
If the chlorine level is outside the optimal range (1-3 ppm), crush one tablet per 20,000 liters of pool water and distribute it evenly across the pool, or place one tablet in a floating or inline chlorine dispenser.
For Treating Contaminated Pools:
Crush four tablets per 20,000 liters of pool water and distribute them evenly across the pool. (Crushing the tablets or using chlorine shock powder instead of tablets accelerates the disinfection process.) Then, run the pool pump in circulation mode for a maximum of 1 hour.
