Prevention of water pollution of fresh pools

The first step: adjusting the chlorine concentration of Hippo Pack pool water (chlorine tablets)

Using tablets containing chlorine compounds is one of the easiest ways to disinfect and disinfect pool water. It’s most important advantage is its ease of use, uniformity, and slowness of its solubility preventing the growth of microscopic algae that causes the pool water to turn green and the pool floor and walls to slip

The amount of free chlorine in the pool should ideally be in the range of 1-3 mg/L, which disinfects the water and kills germs, viruses, and bacteria

Indications

Fill the test container up to the marked line with tested water

Add 5 drops of solution number one to it and shake the container after putting the lid on

If a yellow color is formed, the water contains chlorine

Compare the yellow color obtained with the chlorine control and read the amount of chlorine in milligrams per liter or ppm

The optimum level of chlorine for water disinfection is between 1 and 3 ppm. Measure the amount of chlorine in the pool water using a chlorine measuring kit

Place 1 tablet per 20 cubic meters (20,000 liters) into the floating or linear chlorinator every week

Second step: Hippo Pack pool water pH regulator solution

The pH level indicates how acidic or alkaline the water is at any given time. The pH standard of pool water is in the optimal range between 7.2 and 7.6 because water disinfection is effective in this range and adjusting the pH level leads to the optimal consumption of chlorine tablets.

If the pH level of the water is higher than 7.6, it will reduce the killing power of chlorine, form deposits on the equipment, darken the color of the water, and irritate the eyes and skin of swimmers

Now, if the pH is less than 7, it will reduce the efficiency of chlorine, destroy the plaster and mortar of the walls by water, corrode the equipment, disinfect more than the required amount, and burn the eyes and skin of swimmers

Fill the test container up to the marked line with tested water

Add 5 drops of pH solution and shake it

Compare the color obtained with the pH control and read the pH value of the water

If the pH is not adjusted according to the table below, dilute the Hippo Pack pH-adjusting solution with water, and then add it to the water surface at different points of the pool

Turn on the pool pump and, after 20–30 minutes, put it in the circulation position

Measure the pH of the water again so that it is in the range of 7.2 to 7.6

Check the pH every week so that it is within the desired range

Volume of pH adjusting solution (ml)

For 20,000 liters of pool water

Second step: Hippo Pack pool water pH regulator solution

The pH level indicates how acidic or alkaline the water is at any given time. The pH standard of pool water is in the optimal range between 7.2 and 7.6 because water disinfection is effective in this range and adjusting the pH level leads to the optimal consumption of chlorine tablets

Check the pH every week so that it is within the desired range

Volume of pH adjusting solution (ml)

For 20,000 liters of pool water

Third step: Hippo Pack anti-algae solution of pool water

"Hippo Pack pool water anti-algae" solution should be used periodically and regularly to remove and prevent the growth of algae and repel aquatic insects. If the hardness of the water, turbidity, and the volume and level of algae spread are greater, this solution should be used more.

* The best working temperature of the anti-algae solution is between 15 and 27 degrees Celsius *

Instructions

For every 20 cubic meters (20,000 liters) of pool water, add 1.2 bottles (500 ml) of Hippo Pack anti-algae solution every 2 weeks

Place the filtration pump in the circulating position for 3–4 hours. After completing the circulation, if any alga settles, you can collect it from a pool sweeper

Do not enter the pool water until 5 hours after pouring this solution

Fourth step: Hippo Pack pool water clarifying solution

Very small particles passed through sand filters and cartridges, as well as dust in the air or mud from swimmers, cause the pool water to become cloudy. The "Hippo Pack Clarifier" solution coagulates the particles in the pool water and makes it clear. Coagulation of fine particles and their accumulation makes filtration and removal easier

Instructions

For every 20 cubic meters (20,000 liters) of pool water, add 1.2 bottles (500 ml) of "Hippo Pack Clarifier" solution in different parts of the pool every 2 weeks

Place the filter pump in the circulating position for 3–4 hours so that the solution is distributed evenly in the pool

Rest for about 24 hours so that the suspended matter settles. Collect the settled material with a pool sweeper

Reviving the water of polluted pools

The first step: Hippo Pack adjusting the chlorine concentration of pool water (chlorine tablets)

Instructions

The optimum level of chlorine for water disinfection is between 1 and 3 ppm. Measure the amount of chlorine in the pool water with a chlorine measuring kit

If the amount of chlorine is lower than required, add 500 grams of "Hippo Pack chlorine shock powder" to the pool water to adjust the chlorine concentration in the desired range

Put the pool pump in circulation mode for a maximum of 1 hour

To disinfect the pool water, put 1 tablet per 20 cubic meters (20,000 liters) into the floating or linear chlorine each week. Again, use the chlorine measurement kit to measure the amount of chlorine in the pool water

Second step: Hippo Pack pool water pH regulator solution

The pH level indicates how acidic or alkaline the water is at any given time. The pH standard of pool water is in the optimal range between 7.2 and 7.6 because water disinfection is effective in this range

Instructions

Fill the test container with the water to the mark line

Add 5 drops of pH solution and shake it

Compare the color obtained with the pH control and read the pH value of the water

If the pH is not adjusted according to the table below, dilute the Hippo Pack pH adjusting solution with water, and then add it to the water surface at different points of the pool

Turn on the pool pump and, after 20–30 minutes, put it in the circulation position. Measure the pH of the water again so that it is in the range of 7.2 to 7.6.Check the pH every week so that it is within the desired range

Volume of pH adjusting solution (ml)For 20,000 liters of pool water

The third stage: Hippo Pack anti-algae solution of pool water

Instructions

For every 20 cubic meters (20,000 liters) of contaminated pool water, add 1 liter of "Hippo Pack Anti-Algae" solution to different parts of the pool

Place the filter pump in the circulation position for 1–2hours, then the pool water will change color from polluted green to milky, which means that the algae in the polluted water will disappear

Do not enter the water until 4 hours after pouring this solution

To prevent the growth of any type of algae, add 1.2 bottles (500 ml) of "Hippo Pack Anti-Algae" solution to the pool water every 2 weeks for every 20 cubic meters (20,000 liters) of pool water

Note: If the intensity of pollution is high and the amount of added anti-algae solution does not lead to the complete removal of algae, you can increase the amount of added solution

Step 4: Hippo Pack pool water clarifying solution

Instructions

First, shake the bottle well before using the "Hippo Pack pool water clarifier" solution. Then, according to the amount of particles and the intensity of pollution, add 1-1.5 liters of Hippo Pack clarifying solution in different parts of the pool per 20 cubic meters (20,000 liters) of pool water

Put the filter pump in circulation mode for 20–30 minutes so that the solution is evenly distributed in the pool, or use a paddle to make the solution uniform for 5 minutes

Rest for about 24–48hours so that the suspended matter settles. Gently collect the deposited material with a pool sweeper

To make the pool transparent, add 500 ml of this solution every 2 weeks for every 20 cubic meters (20,000 liters) of pool water

Before entering the pool, the pH should be measured and if it is not in the appropriate range of 7.6 to 7.2, it should be adjusted

Note: If the intensity of pollution is high and the amount of added clarifying solution does not lead to the complete removal of suspended

particles, you can increase the amount of added solution
